Moose Country Adventures is located in Northern Newfoundland, right in the heart of some of the best salmon rivers in Eastern North America. We are not restricted to any specific river and are free to fish any one of the twenty or more licensed rivers that are within a practical driving distance of our lodge. In this coastal lowland area we also have access to hundreds of lakes and streams that have an abundance of brook trout and sea trout. For those of you that enjoy hiking, a half hour off the beaten path, can get you into better than average fishing, where its not uncommon to catch brook trout in excess of five pounds.
Fly-in Fishing Package:
We will fly you into our remote camp on the scenic Cloud River Valley; here you will find yourself in a pristine environment with great scenery and some fantastic fishing. This wilderness area also boast dozens of deep water lakes hidden among the mountains - this is the domain of the magnificent arctic char. Many of these lakes are so remote that they have never been fished. Our sportfishing operation is only two years old and so far we have fished only a small number of these lakes and already we have caught and released arctic char ranging in weight from six (6) to nine and one quarter (9 1/4) pounds.
