TROPHY BLACK BEAR AND CARIBOU HUNTING
THE
TRANSPORTATION:
Our
sites are located on the east coast of Newfoundland.
You
will fly into the capital city St John's on Saturday and
overnight at the comfort inn hotel. Sunday morning rise
and shine bright and early to travel to your hunting location.
There
is a no hunting law in effect in Newfoundland on Sunday.
Your
adventure starts on Monday and runs through to the following
Saturday. You return to St john's on Sunday and fly home
on Monday.
THE
WEATHER CONDITIONS:
Black
bear season can get a little chilly in the early mornings
and in the late evenings. Come prepared with warm clothes,
rain clothes and rubber boots. Maximum weight allowed will
be 60 pounds, as we may have to travel by bush plane.
THE
SEASONS:
All black
bear and caribou
hunts open two weeks early for bow
hunting. October is matting month for the caribou.
This time of the year stags can be seen with many does,
and often fighting with other stags.
